Jon Kennard, I’m a 39 year old Network & Telecom Systems Engineer from Lowestoft.

I am married with a teenage daughter.

I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease about 2 years ago, which is hereditary and affects approx 12 million people worldwide. Since I was diagnosed, my mum and brother Alan have also been confirmed as suffering from the disease.

I have been riding bikes since I was 16, and must confess to becoming a fair-weather biker in recent years.

I hope this will raise a good sum of money for the charities I have chosen, and also raise awareness of PKD.

Confirmed riders:

Alan Kennard, 43 year old electronics engineer, married with 3 kids. Alan started riding bikes when he was 16, but had a 20 year break. Back to biking on a VFR750F-L. Hobbies, when he gets chance are mountain biking, kayaking and of course riding his VFR.

Mark Crisp, is a 51 year old service adviser for Hammond Land Rover. He is married with 2 grown up kids. He currently owns and rides a Kawasaki ZX-10R, but he’s just bought a Triumph Speed Triple winter project to do the trip on. Mark’s so called winter project is almost complete despite only taking a few weeks, and winter only just appearing. Keen or what?

Dom Weavers, 43 year old delivery driver. Dom has 2 teenage daughters, lives in Lowestoft and enjoys canoeing among other things.
